The AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator will help build and strengthen Beaver Creek Reserve’s volunteer program. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, coordinating, managing, and supervising volunteers. Service tasks include but are not limited to building volunteer engagement through planned workdays, volunteer appreciation events, and improving volunteer capacity through various projects, special events, and programs.
Other responsibilities include tracking volunteer hours and completing annual volunteer reports, acting as a point of communication between volunteers and staff, and supervising individual volunteers, and both small (5-20 people) and large (20-100 people) volunteer groups, and attending community outreach and tabling events.
