Our team is dedicated to supporting nature centers and related environmental organizations across North America. We’re fully remote, bringing together a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the field.

Each of us was an ANCA member before joining the staff, so we understand firsthand the rewards and opportunities of working in the nature center profession. We’re here to help our members strengthen their organizations and expand their impact.

Longevity matters to us. Executive Director Jen Levy has led ANCA since 2007, Asa Duffee joined the staff in 2019, and Daniel Auer came on board in 2021. Together, we offer steady leadership and a long-term perspective on the evolving needs of our members.

Where we work from

ANCA’s staff operates remotely throughout what is today the United States. Our main office is located on the ancestral and contemporary land of the Eastern Shoshone and Shoshone-Bannock in Logan, Utah, and our remote staff work and live on the land of the Anishinaabe peoples in Detroit, Michigan, and also on the land of the Shawnee and Miami, in Dayton, Ohio. We acknowledge that all of these peoples have endured extreme violence and forced removal throughout colonial history, and that the violent history continues today. We aspire to fully honor the legacy of these Indigenous peoples and to respect the lands we are on.
