AmeriCorps Outreach Educator
Short Description
The AmeriCorps Outreach Educator is a position, which is shared between two departments: Marketing & Education. The goal of this position is to expand community partnerships through various educational opportunities and outreach in the Chippewa Valley. Service includes some evenings and weekends, as needed.
Responsibilities within the Marketing Department include building community relationships through attending outreach events, assisting with special events, and assisting the Volunteer Coordinator with large volunteer groups.
Responsibilities within the Education Department include hosting on & off-site programming, building lesson plans & curriculums for partner organizations, assisting with summer camps and field trips, and assisting with daily care for our live animal ambassadors.
