Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Camp Chewonki and Organizational Development, the Director of Camp Chewonki is a new position in 2021. The Director of Camp Chewonki will provide unified leadership of the Camp Chewonki department as it grows with the addition of a girls campus on Chewonki Neck, ensure a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion is applied to its programmatic evolution within a rapidly changing world, and enact a camp program that mission driven and aligned for all campers. This position is charged with mentoring a strong and collaborative camp leadership team, and is responsible for implementing a dynamic and mission centered curriculum, for contributing to a dynamic successful enrollment strategy, for managing the department budget, and continuously evaluating and improving the program in order to be an educational leader in the camp industry.
