Executive Director
Short Description
Wolf Park seeks a full-time Executive Director to lead its nonprofit research, education, and conservation organization in Battle Ground, Indiana. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this leader will strengthen financial sustainability, expand fundraising and corporate partnerships, develop staff, grow volunteer engagement, and improve facilities and visitor experiences while preserving exceptional animal welfare and science-based care.
Responsibilities include managing budgets and operations, cultivating donors, diversifying revenue, building collaborative teams, strengthening training and safety systems, and advancing educational programs and community relationships. The Executive Director will partner with the Board on strategy, measurable goals, and capital planning, and serve as Wolf Park’s principal spokesperson.
Candidates should demonstrate leadership, financial judgment, fundraising or revenue-development success, change-management experience, and strong communication skills. Commitment to conservation, education, and animal welfare is essential; professional animal-care experience is preferred. Salary starts at $70,000, based on qualifications and experience, with health insurance and paid time off offered.
