Environmental Educator
Short Description
**Environmental Educator – The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen**
The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen (TNFW) seeks an enthusiastic, creative Environmental Educator to join our small, collaborative team in Virginia's beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Environmental Educator will develop and deliver engaging, hands-on programs that inspire curiosity, deepen connections with nature, and foster environmental stewardship. Approximately two-thirds of the position will focus on school-age children, with the remainder dedicated to adult and community education.
The ideal candidate brings experience in environmental education, strong communication and organizational skills, and a passion for connecting people with the natural world. Knowledge of native plants, particularly those of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is highly desirable.
This is an opportunity to help shape and expand TNFW's educational offerings while working in an extraordinary natural setting. Candidates interested in exhibit development may also have opportunities to contribute to future projects.
