Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Full Time
The COO is responsible for achieving organizational goals by directing the administration of all Florida Oceanographic operational functions including, but not limited to: Education & Exhibits, Animal Care & Life Support Systems, Development & Marketing, Research & Conservation, Visitor Services, and Operations (facilities). As a member of the Executive Team, the COO works alongside the CFO and under the direction of the Executive Director to set policies and make administrative decisions, as well as to liaise with and report to the Board of Directors. As the coordinator of the Leadership team, the COO manages execution of the Strategic Plan, implements organizational Core Values, facilitates enterprise-wide decision-making, and coaches a high performing team culture.
