Ijams Nature Preschool (INP) provides a hands-on, experiential approach to learning that is based on the needs and curiosity of young children. Its mission is to inspire children, families, and educators to connect more deeply with the world around them. Through INP research and programs, children and families develop a profound engagement with the natural world, where nature is an integral part of daily learning. All of these efforts focus on safety, customer service, and effective educational methods in a supportive environment. Ijams Nature Center is seeking a dynamic, curious, and professionally organized educator/leader to lead and manage Ijams' early learning programming. This role will work closely with Ijams Education Director in its responsibilities for the daily operation of Ijams’ nature-based early learning programs including; full time nature preschool, part-time nature preschool (Play Club), and any early learning programs or initiatives at Ijams. They will be responsible for supporting the efficient and effective organizational functioning and strategic growth of Ijams’ Early Learning programs in deep and meaningful ways.
