The Ogden Nature Center is a nonprofit nature education center and nature preserve. Our mission is to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment. We are recruiting one AmeriCorps member for 11 months of service to begin approximately January 30th. This position is offered through Utah Conservation Corps. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience and practice a wide range of skills including teaching, curriculum development, and environmental education. This is a 1700 hour AmeriCorps position with a $17,500 living allowance (paid in even disbursements throughout term of service). As part of the program, you'll also receive a $6,495 education award (available to members after successful service term) and federal, student loan forbearance, and workers compensation.
