The Weekend Nature Center Assistant will focus on several specific objectives with additional responsibilities that vary. The main duties of this position will include greeting visitors at the Nature Center front desk and assisting in responding to inquiries via general email, telephone, and in-person over the weekends. They will also be responsible for opening and closing the Wise Nature Center (Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm) and assisting weekend Nature Center volunteers with staffing the building and front desk. Other duties may include assisting with managing the cash register and checking out equipment rentals on weekends (All-Terrain Track Wheelchair, Kayaks, Snowshoes, Cross-Country Skis).
