Ramsey County Parks & Recreation is currently hiring an Outdoor Education Manager at Tamarack Nature Center. This is a full-time, permanent position with full benefits, starting at $62,000/year. The role of the Outdoor Education Manager at Tamarack is to manage smooth day-to-day operations at the nature center, develop and implement environmental education and outdoor recreation programs, create a long-term vision and strategic plan, and lead a high-quality staff. All of these tasks should be seen through a lens of racial equity, with a goal of providing services to a clientele as racially and ethnically diverse as Ramsey County. Successful candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds with strong leadership and administrative experience, and with a passion for racial equity work and the outdoors.
