The Wilderness Center seeks a dynamic leader to usher its environmental education programs and visitor services into an ambitious future. Our vision is to be a regional leader in environmental education and engagement. The overarching goals for the education programs include impact based programming, financial sustainability, partnerships with school districts and community groups, and to create memorable experiences for students of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and creative professional to join one of NE Ohio’s oldest conservation organizations as we focus our efforts on creating a more sustainable future. The Director of Education provides vision and leadership for the education department and effectively manages a team composed of educators, naturalists, and volunteers.
