Education Programs Manager
Short Description
The Environmental Nature Center (ENC) in Newport Beach, California, is seeking a passionate and organized Education Programs Manager to help lead one of Southern California's premier environmental education programs. This hands-on leadership position combines education, administration, and staff development. Responsibilities include coordinating school field trips, Traveling Naturalist programs, Nature Camps, and educational programming at both the ENC and ENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary; recruiting, scheduling, training, and mentoring our team of Naturalists; and occasionally teaching environmental education programs. The ideal candidate is an exceptional educator, a collaborative leader, and a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to connecting children and families with nature through engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences. Salary: $60,000–$75,000 DOE. Applications accepted through August 19, 2026.
