Membership
The Summit is for current ANCA Members or employees of Organization Members. We do not want the cost of a membership to be a barrier to attending and will offer two discounted membership rates for non-members to join at the Associate or Professional levels. See membership options here. Non-members will receive the discounted membership rate when completing Summit registration.
Scholarships
We offer two scholarship opportunities:
- Community Scholarships are awarded to senior management staff who demonstrate the greatest need and potential impact the Summit will have on their position; these scholarships provide up to $600. Community Scholarships are competitive, and priority is given to applicants with small budgets and first-time attendees. This scholarship is not available to applicants who have received two or more scholarships in the past.
- Equity Scholarships cover $1000 of Summit registration and travel for attendees who identify as part of, or who work, with underrepresented groups (e.g., urban centers, rural centers, BIPOC, Differently-abled, LGBTQIA+ members). This scholarship is for participants attending an in-person Summit for the first time.
The scholarship application deadline is May 31, 2023, and award decisions will be made by June 9, 2023.
COVID Safety Protocols
In accordance with the State of Maine guidelines and with the health and safety of all involved (including both staff and guests), the following safety protocols are in place. Protocols will be assessed and updated as the CDC and State of Maine guidelines evolve.
- ANCA and The Ecology School strongly recommend that all participants who are eligible are up to date on COVID vaccinations. All ANCA and The Ecology School staff are required to be up to date on their COVID vaccinations.
- We strongly recommend that all Summit participants take a COVID test before arrival.
- Participants traveling to The Ecology School on public transportation (including trains and planes) are highly recommended to wear masks during travel.
- Any participant is welcome to wear a face mask during the Summit.
- No one shall attend the Summit if they have been diagnosed with COVID within 5 days preceding. After 5 days of isolation, participants may attend and wear a mask while indoors with others, for days 6-10 if participants are fever free for 24 hours, and symptoms are improving (this may require some rearranging of sleeping arrangements as masks cannot be worn while sleeping). The exception to needing to mask for days 6-10 is if 2 antigen tests are taken, 48 hours apart, and are negative.
- Frequent hand washing will take place by all staff and participants, including directly before each meal.
- Regular cleaning and disinfecting of frequently used places and spaces, including door handles and bathrooms, will be conducted.
