Short Description
This part-time position will work alongside the Citizen Science & Aquatics Coordinator to conduct monitoring on regional lakes and rivers and to work with local stakeholder groups on aquatic invasive species control efforts within a 6-county region. Projects will include Purple Loosestrife Biocontrol, Clean Boats Clean Waters, AIS surveys, and events focused around outreach and volunteer training. Along with the AIS work, the Citizen Science & Aquatics Technician will assist in citizen science projects related to native plantings and freshwater mussel outreach.
