ANCA members all share a similar purpose: connecting people to nature. They fulfill their missions by providing two vital needs: access to outdoor spaces and quality educational programs. Why is this important? Spending time outside offers a range of physical, mental, and emotional benefits, contributing to overall well-being. Outdoor and environmental education is crucial for several reasons, as it plays a significant role in promoting awareness, understanding, and action toward ecological issues.
ANCA members play a critical role in the health and education of their communities, but they cannot do it alone. They need the support and the resources ANCA provides.
As a capacity-building organization, ANCA creates spaces for our members to share resources, foster relationships, and learn about best practices. We also support members facing challenges and needing specialized help to move forward. For our members and their communities to flourish, ANCA must remain strong. Will you help us?
During this season of giving, you can support ANCA and our members in several ways.
- Become a monthly donor through the ANCA Sustaining Leadership Program. Monthly donations provide a reliable source of income that allows us to focus on our mission. The ANCA Sustaining Leadership Program has 15 members, and our goal is to add 10 more members by the end of December — will you help us reach our goal?
- Support the ANCA Operational Reserve by gifting Nature Nerd pins to your staff and loved ones, or secure a pin for yourself!
- Gift an ANCA Membership to a new leader
- Make a one-time gift to the ANCA Endowment, Memorial Scholarship Fund, or the ANCA Annual Fund. Your gift can be made in memory of a loved one or honor of a peer or mentor.
