Facilitated Discussions

FACILITATED DISCUSSIONS are 90-minute sessions where the primary presenter is a facilitator, rather than a single voice, and guides the exchange of ideas based around the topic title. Participants enrich the discussion by contributing ideas and experiences. The result is a shared dialogue that brings out an abundance of perspectives, possibilities, and renewed energy.

Suggest a Topic

We are looking for suggestions of Facilitated Discussion topics for the 2021 ANCA Summit, August 23-26.

What topics are important to you? We welcome your thoughts on any topic within the nature & environmental learning center profession. Topics could address issues such as:

  • Returning to in-person engagement
  • Board engagement
  • Donor communications
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Advocacy
  • Virtual programming
  • Membership
  • Facility & personnel management

If you propose a topic, you do not need to facilitate the discussion — but you may volunteer to facilitate if you'd like.

The deadline for suggestions is June 1st. If you have any questions or want to discuss your idea, please contact ANCA Events Coordinator Sarah Reding at . Thank you!
