ANCA recently earned the Utah Nonprofits Association (UNA) Credential Badge in Human Resources, demonstrating that we are dedicated to best practices in employee support and organizational compliance.
To earn this badge, ANCA Executive Director Jen Levy attended a two-day intensive training. Following the training, we submitted content for a subject expert to review, including our employee handbook and job position descriptions. Jen also met one-on-one with the credential facilitator to discuss how ANCA shares our work in advancing the nature and environmental learning center profession.
UNA offers nine credentials for nonprofits to strengthen operations and demonstrate commitment to organizational excellence. ANCA has previously earned the UNA Credential Badges in Advocacy & Civic Engagement and Marketing & Communication.
“Congratulations to ANCA for earning the prestigious Credential Badge in Human Resources. Their dedication and commitment to excellence are truly commendable and set an example for the nonprofit sector. By successfully accomplishing tasks like creating an inclusive employee handbook, implementing leadership training on contracts and anti-discrimination policies, and reviewing their employment processes and practices, ANCA has showcased their unwavering commitment to fostering a safe, fair, and inclusive work environment."
