Location: Fort Myers, FL
Responsible for educational programming at the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium. This includes scheduling, leading and overseeing staff and volunteers in implementation. Coordinates and leads all educational camp programming during summer and holidays both on site and off site. Assists in animal care presentations, guided walks and interpretive design of museum displays. Qualifications: Bachelors degree, preferably in education, environmental science, interpretation or related field of study. Preference given to candidates with experience in environmental education related work in planning, organizing, and evaluating educational programs. Consideration will be given to candidates with background in a regular classroom, outdoor education, and camp experience as well as course work or experience in environmental education. Strong organizational and communication skills needed. Ability to learn SW Florida flora and fauna.
