The Princeton-Blairstown Center (PBC), a 110-year-old non-profit that serves 8,000 participants annually, empowers young people, primarily from under-resourced communities, to strengthen their social-emotional skills through experiential, environmental, and adventure-based programming on a 264-acre campus. DOP oversees PBC’s 1-5 day programs for schools and community organizations & during summer oversees PBC’s Summer Bridge & LIT Programs provided free of charge to young people from low-income communities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee a team of 6 year-round, 8 seasonal, 17 summer & 10 adjunct staff; ensure safety & risk management protocols; marketing; budgeting; strategic planning; curriculum development; staff training & outcomes measurement. Position Requirements: At least 8-10 years of previous management or professional experience in youth development, teaching, camping, or recreation fields in increasingly responsible supervisory positions; advanced degree in Education, Recreation, or related field preferred; transparent, collaborative leader who empowers, coaches, and mentors staff; strong work ethic; and passion for empowering young people from low-income communities.
