Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is offering a Summer Camp Internship. This intern program is designed to provide undergraduate, new college graduates, or graduate college students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in nature education. By working with professional Naturalist educators, interns will develop outdoor teaching skills and learn how to incorporate their knowledge of Wisconsin natural history into lesson plans for young students. Schlitz Audubon’s Summer Camp Internship is a challenging and highly rewarding experience for someone considering a career in environmental education.

Summer Camp Interns are expected to maintain professional and communicative relations with parents and guardians of summer camp children. This may include addressing issues as outlined in the Summer Camp Policies & Procedures Manual (as administered by the Director of Summer Camp). Interns report to the Director of Summer Camp.
