Texas Region

Texas is a large state so we have the opportunity to learn from many people belonging to ANCA. We hold our annual meeting every February and try to rotate our meeting around the state so everyone has an opportunity to attend. Our past locations include Dallas, Corpus Christi, Big Bend area and Boerne, Texas. If you are interested in hosting a regional conference, let us know; we would love to talk to you!

Our meeting usually starts with an optional Thursday night social a local restaurant and the main meeting begins on Friday; some host sites may plan some activities for Thursday as well. Our topics are chosen by the regional committee and the host of the meeting. We try to keep them relevant to what is happening in the nature center field and always allow time for attendees to participate in "our version of open space" to make sure the needs of those attending are being addressed.
