Featured Speaker: Environmental Education for the Desperate - Jeremy Lloyd

In his twenties, broke, brokenhearted, and fearful about the future, Jeremy Lloyd stumbled into a job connecting people with nature in the Great Smoky Mountains. Almost three decades later, Lloyd has authored a book that recounts his journey as an environmental educator and celebrates the work carried out by Tremont Institute and other outdoor schools around the country. Along with sharing stories from his personal experience, Lloyd will reflect on the past and future of environmental education and what it has to offer a world desperate for connection.
