2025 ANCA Outdoor School Summit:
Jan 10-14 at NorthBay in North East, Maryland

Staying at NorthBay offers full immersion in the Outdoor School Summit experience. You will have easy access to all the amenities of NorthBay's campus, as well as the scenic landscape of the surrounding Elk Neck State Park.

Lodging

NorthBay offers a variety of accommodations. For your stay at the Outdoor School Summit, you may choose between a dormitory-style lodging in a Cabin or hotel-style rooms at The Kestrel or NorthBay's Guest House. Please note that each option has different pricing, and that pricing is per person. If you are staying in a shared room at The Kestrel or Guest House, you will have the option to choose your roommate.

If you want to arrive a day early or stay a day after the Summit, you are welcome to book lodging for the nights of Thursday, January 9 or Tuesday, January 14.

We will open booking soon. Please note that NorthBay will process booking for rooms.

Cabins

Each Cabin can accommodate 12 people on bunk beds and has a bathroom with 2 stalls and 2 showers. See inside a Cabin here.

Fees

  • Single Bed — $70/night

Kestrel Hotel Rooms

The Kestrel is part of "The Roost," which offers private hotel-style rooms. Each room has its own bathroom and mini fridge. See inside a Roost room here.

  • Shared Room — $85/night
  • Single Occupancy — $130/night

Guest House

The Guest House offers private hotel-style rooms, a great room with a wood burning fireplace and entertainment center, a fully equipped kitchen, waterfront views, a 6-person hot tub, pool table, and more. See inside the Guest House here.

  • Single Occupancy — $185/night

Location

NorthBay is situated in Elk Neck State Park, which spans over 2,000 acres that include forests, marshlands, white clay cliffs, and sandy shorelines. The Park offers hiking trails and amenities such as the Turkey Point Lighthouse, which provides expansive views of the Chesapeake Bay. The Park and NorthBay are a ten-minute drive from North East, a charming town with local shops, boutiques, and restaurants.

Transit

The nearest airports are the Philadelphia International Airport (an hour’s drive) and the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (an hour and fifteen minutes).

The nearest Amtrak train stops are in Newark, Delaware, and Aberdeen, Maryland. Both stops are about a 40-minute drive from NorthBay.
