ANCA CONNECTS: Camp Directors Summer Recap

Summer Camp 2025 has wrapped, and now is the perfect time for camp leaders to reflect and prepare for the year ahead. What went exceptionally well? What unexpected challenges arose? Where can you find new resources for next year?
Join fellow camp directors and leadership staff for a collaborative discussion designed to help you make your next season even stronger. This is your opportunity to connect with peers who understand the unique demands of running summer programs, and learn from one another’s experiences.
This program is open to leaders from all types of summer camps at nature centers, outdoor schools, and related environmental organizations — including both day-use and overnight camps. No matter your camp format, you’ll gain practical takeaways to strengthen your operations and programming.
The discussion itself will follow an Open Space format, allowing participants to propose the topics most relevant to their programs. We'll also compile resources on a virtual bulletin board that will be available after the program.
Bring your challenges and questions, and leave with new ideas and strategies to make Summer 2026 your most successful season yet!
