2025 Michigan DNR Nature Center Summit
Description
Friday, February 7, 9am-4pm
Ralph A. MacMullan Conference Center in Roscommon, Michigan
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources' (DNR) Nature Center Summit was established in 2019 as an opportunity to connect nonformal educators to the science behind resource management. The goal is to provide environmental organizations with the latest and most scientifically accurate information about Michigan's wildlife, fisheries, forests and more.
This year, DNR staff and partners will share the most up-to-date data and trends about bald eagles, harmful algal blooms, the Michigan Climate Corps and more. Networking time is also built in throughout the day. ANCA Director of Programs & Member Services Dan Auer will host a conversation about professional development opportunities, alongside representatives from the National Association for Interpretation and the Michigan Alliance for Environmental and Outdoor Education.
