The Bolsa Chica Conservancy Executive Director position requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about directing all aspects of the organization; day-to-day operations, administration and finance, fundraising, development and management of programs, and community relations. This position is on-site at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve Interpretive Center and reports to the Board of Directors Salary: Commensurate with experience up to $120,000.00/year. GENERAL FUNCTION Responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the BCC Organization by providing leadership, direction, and strategic planning in support of its mission and goals. Provides leadership, direction, and support to the board of directors in establishing policies, developing organizational goals, attaining, allocating, managing, and maintaining the stability of funding resources. Leads and directs management and staff in carrying out the key roles and responsibilities to deliver high quality program services that identify BCC as a leader in the area of coastal ecology. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversee routine business functions including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, human resources, and administration.
